Pa'alaea Farms, Honoka'a High & Inter. School
Our Pa'akai (Sea Salt) has our Lemongrass, 'Olena (Turmeric), and Ni'oi (Hawaiian Chili Pepper) infused in it. The Lemon grass, 'Olena, and Ni'oi has medicinal properties that help with high blood pressure, diabetes, and inflamation to name a few. We grew, harvested, dehydrated and ground the Lemon grass, 'Olena and Ni'oi and then mixed it with the Pa'akai. You can use it on anything - all kinds of meat, fish, seafood, and vegetables works well with our Pa'akai. People have also seasoned their soup with it.
Products will be shipped during the month of April 2024.

About Us:
Honoka'a High School has expanded this year to include our Business, Culinary, Graphic Design and Agriculture classes in the Young Entrepreneur Program. Our students feel a sense of pride in their projects - they grew, harvested, processed, and created the product. Our students also created the logo and labels for both products and our business students came up with the plan and prices. YEP has impacted 4 times as many students this year vs. last year and we are looking forward to doing a little more next year!
